Concordian Bangkok, or Concordian International School in Bangkok is a college-preparatory school offering the IB curriculum from Nursery through Grade 12. This international school in Bangkok is located on Bangna-Trad Road. The school’s mission is to promote academic excellence while nurturing young people to become moral and intellectual leaders, people of dignity, integrity and compassion, who want to make a difference in the world.
Concordian International School Bangkok works within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework to deliver rigorous and challenging programs. The course of study is a combination of the IB standards and global standards from around the world. The school offers a Nursery Program for children ages 2 and above, a Primary Years Program (PYP) for Grades 1 t0 5, a Middle Years Program (MYP) for Grades 6 to 10, and a Diploma Program for Grades 11 and 12. As there are only three full International Baccalaureate Schools in Bangkok, the choices are a bit limited. The other full IB schools in Bangkok are NIST and KIS International School. They are all quite different, so it’s best to visit each one if you have the time.
Holistic education, communication and intercultural awareness are the foci of Concordian. Concordian Bangkok offers a unique English-Chinese Immersion Program and a language class in Thai in the PYP. In MYP, Chinese is studied as a world language. To develop their students into well-rounded and compassionate individuals, the school also offers a wide variety of sports and many more after-school activities. The students get to experience trips and expeditions within Bangkok, outside of Bangkok, and overseas, and are immersed in various community service activities.
